A Mercantour ski resort, Auron is located between the Mediterranean sea and the Parc National du Mercantour, an hour away from Nice. In the heart of the Maritime Alps, the ski resort was created in 1937: Auron occupates the Domaine Blanc with its neighbours, Isola and St Dalmas. Over 135km of ski pistes in 4 sectors: Las Donnas, Sauma Longue, Demandols and Lieuson. For snowboard fans, Auron offers an area dedicated to this sport, the Surfland. Composed with a sector for beginners, also used by the ESF, and of a sector used by intermediate and expert freeriders, and a half pipe area with 4 models of slope style: table, gap, spine and face quarter, Surfland was built for all levels of snowboard. Freestyle lovers will be able to have fun all day and slide in all directions. For nature loving skiers, Auron will provide all the joys of skiing in a natural setting. For après-ski, you can go on a carriage ride or make the best of the exercise equipment. Sporty skiers will be able to finish the day with a paragliding descent.
